THE JUNO AWARDS

Through 5X, I joined the JUNO Awards to highlight South Asian and current artist nominees at Canada’s biggest music night. Working with producer Jessie Sidhu, I filmed and edited interviews for same day and next day release, surpassing over 500 thousand views. We spoke with artists like Inderpal Moga, Channi Nattan, and AR Paisley, who have all performed at 5X and been part of its community, as well as icons like Jazzy B, whose interview was shared as a collaborative Instagram post, and Sukha, whose reel surpassed 295K views. I also captured moments with Jessie Reyez and Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da, whose clip was reposted to his own audience. It was a full circle moment seeing artists connected to 5X performing at the JUNOs.
